any body knows the history of the time?Why the first of may have be chosen for the world asthma year?
Hi, I always thought its because its the start of the hay restlessness season, and hay fever triggers allergic responses and asthma
Because the second two letters within "asthma" are m and a, and the only month that comes close surrounded by comparison on the annual calender is May. It's a stretch, I know, but nobody's ever figured out what cause asthma anyway, so what the heck. At least us asthmatics receive a month of recognition at the start of spring when adjectives the pollens begin to flare up our asthma and allergies.
