Anything i can do to prevent the flu if my friend have it?

my friend just get the flu last hours of darkness, & i have be hanging around her & what not, is at hand anything i can do to help prevent me from getting it? gratefulnessAnything i can do to prevent the flu if my friend have it?
Take lots of vitamin C
Wear a mask when around her/him (you can buy at hardware store or pharmacy--doesn't concern what kind of mask)
Drink lots of hose down and juices
Get lots of rest
Start eating/drinking chicken soup/broth
It is possible that you could hold already caught the flu from your friend--but if you do the above, it may make you enjoy a lighter case than she/he does.

Don't swap spit, keep hold of at least 3 foot between you and friend and wash your hand frequently (which you should be doing on a regular basis anyway). Better to distance yourself from an artificial person for a few days consequently being sick for a week.
