Are asthma fell flow meters just sold by prescription or can you purchase one over-the-counter?
Peak flow meters at one time were RX simply in masses states.
Now they are OTC, though some pharmasists, who have not
be re-educated, think they are RX with the sole purpose; most are wrong.
You can check eBay or google and buy one. Very many are
available right presently (I just checked). Also, copious drug companies
give free ones to doctors who may distribute you a free unit also.
Pick a small one, that will fit into a purse or jacket so you
own it with you.
Test your breathing at indistinguishable time(s) each daytime and chart it
to create your personnal baseline. Then when you think your
breathing is worse, compare it to baseline.
If worse, follow plan your doctor give you or if really bad, turn
to the ER.
If you have "twitchy airways" overdoing the hilltop flow meter
can aggrevate your breathing, so try not to do this excessively.
ask your pulmanologist
I took a cardio/pulamanory course and the gave me one
I used to flog them MANY years ago, but I think they are OTC - devout luck
They are OTC
