Who is responsible for antibiotic resistance? Why?Antibiotic Resistance?
Responsible? Doctors AND patients. Doctors have over-prescribed antibiotics for YEARS and like mad of patients bug them to prescribe them. Most of the time, you have a virus and the antibiotic is worthless on virus. A person get sick and thinks that an antibiotic will kind them better faster. Even when the doctor tells you it's a virus.....empire STILL beg for the antibiotic. So when you do draw from an infection, it won't help because the microbes has become resistant. So tons people fall up in hospitals for something that started as a simple bacterial infection and after several different types of antibiotics, they basically keep getting sicker.
Perhaps a larger incentive of antibiotic resistance is their use in agriculture. They are feed to the animals humans eat even if the animals aren't sick. This allows adjectives sorts of germs to become resistant
The responsibility lies on both doctors and patients. The doctors over prescribe antibiotics and the patients not taking them as directed or not taking the full prescription.
