24 weeks pregnant w/ viral infection that isn't on the road to recovery?

This last tues. hours of darkness I started getting symptoms...heavy chest/wheezing/coughing/vomite... twice thursday hours of darkness and once friday morning. was diagnosed thursday within ER with viral infection, cuz I have 104 fever. Doc said it would a moment ago have to lug it's course, but it's not getting any better and I just quality yuck! This isn't gonna harm the babe or cause labor will it? I own lost my appetite, and I don't know what meds to take for cough. Help!?24 weeks pregnant w/ viral infection that isn't on the road to recovery?
virus are self-limiting. meaning, they die bad on their own. you don't need antibiotics for it. and it would be best if you don't bring any kind of prescription because it can harm your toddler. best to see your OB about what your inkling. but think rest and plentifully of fluids should be enough. NO MEDICINES.
Call your dr and ask him/her nearly what to take. This is regular for the flu.
I am surprised that the ER doc didn't tell you what to do if it didn't subside on its own and even moreso that he didn't speak about you to follow up with your OB! Your babe-in-arms should be ok, but I would definitely ring your OB because most of them want to be notified if you are sick within case they settle on that they need you to come contained by.
Get well!
