Why would my finger turn purple?

A few days ago I put light purple fastener polish on my finger and toe nails. All of them turned out okay except for my middle finger on my departed hand. It turned out frothy purple with dim purple streaks in it. I didn't do anything different to it. Today my finger is purple. It seem to be generating from the staple. I is turning bright purple. The splotch is growing bigger all the time. It seem to be under the skin. I do own a little cut beneath my fingernail. Do you think that might enjoy something to do with it? What should I do roughly speaking it?
It doesn't hurt or anything though. It just looks strange.Why would my finger turn purple?
I wouldn't do any entity to it because it could be infection until u get it check out by a doctor.When of if you get hold of check it by a doctor do everything they tell u do.I would progress to the emergency room if it starts to get look worst or if it starts to hurt or starts to look bigger.If it does start to hurt bring an aspirin and if it starts to look bigger take an aspirin and put some rime on it.Also call your doctor to be paid an appointment to make nil else is going.
Just to be on the safe side, dance to your DR., and have it checked, especially if it is spreading.
